To operate a trusted, resident-only safety platform, we collect the following categories of information:

• Identity information: your full name and email address, collected during account registration.
• Phone number: collected and verified during account setup to enable two-factor authentication and, if you choose, emergency alert delivery.
• Home address and proof of residency: collected to confirm that you are a current resident of The Fairways. Your full address is not publicly displayed within the App.
• Alert preferences: your choices regarding emergency SMS alerts and automated voice-call alerts, stored to honor your consent decisions.
• Incident reports and community content: text descriptions, comments, photographs, and short videos that you voluntarily submit when reporting suspicious activity or incidents.
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system version, app version, session logs, and error reports, collected as necessary to maintain security and reliability.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Resident verification: to confirm that each account holder is a current, authorized resident of The Fairways.
• Account security: to authenticate your identity, prevent unauthorized access, and protect the integrity of the platform.
• Incident reporting: to receive, store, and share your submitted reports with other verified residents and authorized moderators.
• Neighborhood alerts: to deliver urgent push notifications and, if you have opted in, emergency SMS and automated voice-call alerts.
• Moderation and abuse prevention: to review content, enforce community standards, and take action against accounts that violate the Terms of Service.
• Service improvement: to diagnose technical issues, monitor performance, and improve the App's reliability and features.

Access to the App is restricted to verified residents of The Fairways and authorized moderators and administrators. During registration, you are required to submit your home address and proof of residency. This information is reviewed by authorized personnel solely for the purpose of confirming eligibility.

Your full home address is not publicly displayed to other residents within the App. Address information is stored securely and used only for verification and, where legally required, for compliance purposes.

We implement technical and administrative safeguards to protect account credentials and personal data against unauthorized access, including phone number verification and session management controls.

When you submit an incident report, your content — including text, photos, and videos — is shared with other verified residents within the App and reviewed by authorized moderators. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content you submit.

Moderators and administrators may review, hide, or remove content that violates community standards. Incident reports may be retained to support ongoing safety awareness within the community and, where appropriate, to assist law enforcement upon lawful request.

The App is a community safety tool and is not a replacement for 911 or law enforcement. For emergencies, always contact 911 first.

During account setup and alert-preference selection, you may separately choose to opt in to emergency SMS text alerts and automated voice-call alerts for serious neighborhood incidents. These alerts are optional and distinct from standard in-app push notifications.

You may update or withdraw your SMS and voice-call alert consent at any time through your in-app notification preferences. Withdrawing consent will not affect your access to other App features.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers or marketing partners.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the platform, including cloud hosting, identity authentication, SMS and voice messaging delivery, and media storage providers. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only to perform services on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or lawful request from a government authority.
• Safety and emergency: We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to prevent imminent harm.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include encrypted data transmission, access controls, and regular security reviews.

The App is intended for use by adults who are verified residents of The Fairways. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users through the App or by email.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
